Your Executors

Executors are the people responsible for carrying out your will. We recommend appointing two. They should be people you trust — often family members or close friends.

Guardians for Your Children

If both parents pass away, your chosen guardian(s) will look after your children under 18. This is one of the most important decisions in your will.

Specific Gifts

Leave specific items or amounts of money to named people. For example: "My gold watch to my son James" or "£5,000 to Cancer Research UK".

You can skip this step if you don't want to leave specific gifts. Everything will go through the residuary estate.

Residuary Estate

After any specific gifts, who should receive the rest of your estate? You can split it between multiple people by percentage. The total must equal 100%.

These are non-binding expressions of your wishes.
